Data Science: The AI Journey for Teachers
Purpose
This professional development program is designed for educators with an interest in incorporating (or strengthening) Data Science lessons or classes in their teaching. Math, Computer Science, Data Science and all other teachers are welcome. You will be trained in Python Programming, Data Analytics, and Machine Learning, and you will be equipped to teach this content to your students. All materials that we teach focus on code with lessons and a digital curriculum included.
Requirements
Prerequisites: None.
Hardware/Software: Computer with internet connection good enough for Zoom (we use Google Colab online).
Dates
Data Science: The AI Journey for Teachers meets on Zoom from June 23 - June 27, Weekdays, 9:15am-3:30pm PDT (40 min lunch included)
Class
Interactive lectures are taught live by program director Corey Wade with additional senior instructors.
Small cohorts grouped by subject / coding background are led by data science instructors.
Information on coding background will be collected via survey after you click “Enroll” above.
